Today, the carrier added the ZTE Avid 828, a low cost Android 5.0 smartphone while a week ago, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) has arrived with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board. Consumer Cellular adds ZTE Avid 828 for $70 while this year’s version of Galaxy J3 is priced at $125. Update: the carrier has also added the Alcatel Pop 3, a 5.5-inched Lollipop smartphone for $100.

New RingPlus Mad Plans Use Regular Sprint Network To Route Calls, Don’t Include RingPlus Radio, AdsSprint MVNO RingPlus has introduced Mad Plans, new service plans that use regular Sprint nationwide network to route calls. Up until now, all Ring Plus plans, free and paid, have been routed through RingPlus first. As a result, they have all come with RingPlus Radio, ads, in-call apps which made them available at cheaper monthly cost.
