MetroPCS cuts off $40 unlimited 4G LTE plan from its offer but this change happened much earlier than anyone noticed. According to a MetroPCS spokesperson that gave confirmation to Fierce Wireless, the lowest priced 4G LTE plan was dropped sometime at the end of last year, together with dropping off the Samsung Craft.
