iPhone on Cricket Wireless as of June 22
Cricket today announced quite important addition to its lineup. As of June 22, this prepaid provider will become the first of its kind in the US to offer iPhone to its customers. However, iPhone on Cricket will not come cheap but still, comparing to other carriers, it’s a bargain. Read more

Sprint will stop selling all iDEN phones, including Boost Mobile, over the next several months
Sprint yesterday announced its plans to discontinue service on its iDEN network by June 30, 2013. Also, over the next few months, Sprint will stop selling all iDEN phones through all channels and brands, including its prepaid brand Boost Mobile. Read more
Updated! Virgin Mobile is adding roaming to its service as of July 1st
Update May 29, 2012: Virgin Mobile will not add roaming to its service after all as its representative made it clear on the company’s Facebook page with statement: “Virgin Mobile USA Hi everyone. I need to clarify comments about roaming on Virgin Mobile. Roaming is not available. We did recently update our terms and conditions (effective 7/1/12) in order to make our language more consistent with Sprint’s. There is a new reference to roaming, but we have no plans to add roaming at this time. For information on whether roaming applies, see your service plan details. Virgin Mobile new 4G Broadband2Go plans for $35 and $55 now available
Virgin Mobile has recently announced adding new Broadband2Go devices, the $149.99 Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot and the $99.99 Franklin U600 3G/4G USB Stick, that will be available for purchase on May 31, together with release of Virgin Mobile’s first 4G WiMAX phone HTC EVO V 4G for $299. However, also announced then and available now are Virgin Mobile new 4G Broadband2Go plans for $35 and $55 per month. Read more
No contract T-Mobile Prism price changes to $219.99, announced for $149.99, available on carrier website and its retail stores
T-Mobile Prism has been available for purchase since early May on and off contract at Best Buy and Walmart but as of yesterday, May 23rd, it’s available on T-Mobile’s website, its retail stores and at select dealers. While the price for the on-contract alternative stayed unchanged, $19.99, the no contract T-Mobile Prism price changes to $219.99 even though it’s announced for $149.99. The reason for this increase is not provided at this point. Read more
AT&T GoPhone adds Samsung Galaxy Appeal with QWERTY slide out keyboard
AT&T has announced adding a new Android smartphone to its prepaid service GoPhone. This time, GoPhone adds Samsung Galaxy Appeal that comes with QWERTY slide-out keyboard, perfect for texting. The phone will be available at Walmart from June 5 while at all other GoPhone distribution centers, you can expect it from July 15th. Read more
Voyager Mobile service is available now with its $19 and $39 unlimited monthly plans
After last week’s initial launch date delayed due to the “malicious network attack” on the company’s website, Voyager Mobile service is available now. Voyager Mobile is new Sprint’s MVNO that uses Sprint’s 3G and Clearwire’s 4G WiMAX network. Read more

Yesterday, May 21, 2012, Sprint has announced that its prepaid brand Virgin Mobile has new payLo $40 Unlimited plan to offer to its users. New payLo Unlimited plan comes with unlimited voice, messages (text, picture, email and/or IM) and 50MB of data. Read more
Straight Talk ZTE Merit available for $99.99
Yet another Android handset has been released for Straight Talk ZTE Merit. It’s the last one of three lately expected Android smartphones for this carrier, Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, Huawei Ascend II that’s not listed on the Straight Talk website yet but it’s spotted at Walmart stores and now ZTE Merit.
