A $40 Discount On Fifth Line Of Cricket’s Five Lines For $100 Promotion Expires March 1, 2016 – Updated
Cricket Wireless’ long time offered $40 discount on fifth line of ‘five lines for $100 promotion’ is coming to an end. Since it’s started offering these savings on multiple lines, Cricket has let customers know that they can enjoy the fifth line for free “long after” promotion ends or more precisely after March 1, 2016. Back in August 2014, when promotion was launched, that was a really long period.
Now that the end of this offer is here, it’s good to know that discount on the fifth line will go from $40 to $30 per month so instead of paying $100 for five lines customers will be paying $110. The five lines for $100 promotion works with $40 monthly plan so the first line has no discount; the second line is discounted $10; the third $20; the fourth $30 and the fifth is $40 off per month but should be $30 after March 1. So, for one line, customers pay $40 per month, for two lines $70, for three lines $90, for four lines $100 and the fifth is currently free while from March 1, 2016, customers will pay $110.
Cricket’s five lines for $100 promotion is available with the $50 and the $60 unlimited plans, too.
Howard Forums user said that his bill is due in mid-March and that the bill shows that he owes only $100 for 5 lines. Perhaps Cricket will decide to extend the $40 discount on fifth line offering (or fifth line free if users sign in to $40 monthly plan). Even if that doesn’t come to be the case, paying additional $10 for fifth line or $110 in total instead of $100 is still a great deal.
Update: The $40 discount on fifth line hasn’t expired so Cricket customers can still get five lines for $100 per month on the $40 Basic Plan. See how it compares to the new Boost Mobile and MetroPCS family plans.
