Aio Wireless has announced today that its prepaid service in now available in two additional markets, Atlanta and South Florida. This new AT&T’s prepaid brand has launched in May in select markets only – Houston, Orlando and Tampa and expanded afterward to Texas, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Fl Naples and Ft. Myers, Florida. However, the carrier plans to expand its prepaid service nationwide over the 2014.
The carrier will also add two more markets soon according to “Where’s Aio?” contest on Aio’s Facebook page, where customers are guessing where Aio is launching next.
Aio Wireless offers access to AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ and LTE speeds that are throttled to 4 Mbps and up to 8 Mbps, respectively. Aio’s prepaid plans start with $40 per month plan for feature phones. The $40 plan includes unlimited talk, messaging and 250 MB of fast speed data. There are two smartphone plans available. The $55 monthly plan comes with 2 GB of data in addition to unlimited talk and messaging and $70 plan with 7 GB of data. The tablet plan includes only data, 250 MB, for $15 per month.
