Airvoice plans changed, include more data
AT&T MVNOs has brought significant changes lately to their plans regarding data. Airvoice Wireless is one of them and unlike last time when only data rate has been lowered from 33¢ to 6¢ per MB, all Airvoice plans are changed now, bringing more data to the customers overall.
Prepaid Phone News confirmed the change with the Airvoice since the change hasn’t been reflected on their website yet as well as provided a screenshot of the new Airvoice plans since a user’s phone number is requested in order to access new plans.
The new Airvoice plans are in effect now:
- The $30 monthly plan that previously offered just unlimited talk, text and picture messaging now includes 100 MB of data in addition. The plan also comes with 100 international texts. The $35 plan is no longer available.
- The $40 monthly plan now offers 1 GB of data instead of previous 500 MB in addition to unlimited talk, text and picture messaging, $10 international call credit and 100 international texts.
- The $60 monthly plan (replaces the $55 plan with 1GB of data) includes 3 GB of data, unlimited talk, text and picture messaging, $10 international call credit and 100 international texts.
When users of the $40 and $60 monthly plan reach half of the plan’s data allotment, 500 MB on the $40 plan or 1.5 GB on the $60 plan, they need to call Airvoice in order for the carrier to release the rest of the data, according to Prepaid Phone News readers.
Airvoice also confirmed that overage data rate for the $30, $40 and $60 monthly plan is now lowered from 33¢ to a 2.5¢ per MB, which makes a 6¢ per MB data rate applicable only to pay as you go and a $10 plan.
