Boost Mobile adds ZTE Speed, Lumia 635 for Boost and Virgin also available now
Sprint’s prepaid brands Boost and Virgin Mobile have added couple of new affordable smartphones, Android and Windows Phone, to its lineup. Firstly, previously announced the Nokia Lumia 635 has become available today for both carriers. The Lumia 635 can be purchased for $99.99. Secondly, Boost Mobile adds ZTE Speed, Android 4.4 smartphone, that’s available for $99.99 at Boost’s website while at stores, the phone will be offered in January.
ZTE Speed Specs
Besides Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the ZTE Speed features a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for additional memory expansion up to 32GB. It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing one, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and enhanced LTE, HD Voice and a non-removable 2,000mAh battery that provides up to 14 hours of talk time.
Nokia Lumia 635 Specs
The Nokia Lumia 635 is a Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone with personal virtual assistant Cortana, 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card support for up to 128GB of storage, 5-megapixel camera, LTE. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, interchangeable covers and 1830 mAh removable battery that provides up to 15 hours of talk time.
Boost Mobile ZTE Speed and the Lumia 635 work with the $35, $45 and $55 plans that include unlimited talk, text and data with first 1 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB at high speeds, respectively.
Virgin Mobile plans start at $20 per month and 300 voice minutes and unlimited texts. For $35 per month, users can choose from: unlimited talk, messaging and data with first 250MB at high speeds or 300 voice minutes, unlimited messaging and data with first 2.5 GB at high speeds. The $45 and the $55 plans include unlimited talk, messaging and data with first 1 GB and 3 GB at high speeds, respectively plus unlimited international texts and 100 international minutes to over 70 countries.
