Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE launching January 19 for $129.99
Sprint’s prepaid brand, Boost Mobile has announced the third generation of the Samsung Galaxy Prevail smartphones. After the original Prevail that launched in July, 2011 and its successor the Prevail 2 that’s released two years later, July, 2013, Boost scheduled the launch of the Galaxy Prevail LTE for January 19, 2015. Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE will be available for $129.99 in the carrier’s stores and website.

Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE Specs
Besides gaining LTE connectivity and support for Sprint Spark tri-band LTE, the Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE comes with many improvements comparing to its predecessor. The Prevail LTE has a 4.5-inch (800×480) display, Android 4.4 OS, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for up to 128GB of additional storage; Prevail 2 has a 4-inch display, Android 4.1 OS, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage and microSD slot with support for up to 64GB cards. The Prevail LTE also comes with a support for HD Voice, a 5-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera (improved from 1.3-megapixels) and a 2000mAh battery (increase from 1750mAh) that provides up to 19 hours of talk time.
UPDATED Dec. 2015: The Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE can be paired with Boost Mobile’s prepaid plans with data that can grow over time. The $35 plan ($30 with auto pay) offers unlimited talk, text and data with 2GB at high speed that can grow up to 5GB after 18 on-time payments; the $45 plan has 5GB of high speed data that can grow up to 8GB and the $60 plan includes unlimited talk, text and unlimited unthrottled data.
