Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III LTE launches June 12 for $399.99
Boost Mobile announced today that its LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy S III will be added to its high-end Android smartphone lineup starting June 12. The “premium Android smartphone” will be available for $399.99 without taxes at Boost Mobile’s website, stores and select independent wireless dealers across the country.
Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III will work on Sprint’s 3G and 4G LTE network. Sprint’s LTE coverage is currently live in 88 markets.
Boost’s Galaxy S III comes with an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform and a fast and smooth 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, the largest for Boost so far, an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for making video calls. The phone impresses with content sharing abilities through S Beam, Share Shot and AllShare Play features as well as with gesture abilities as tap to top of list, turn over to mute, shake to refresh and many more.
Ones available, customers will be able to pair it with the Boost’s $55 Android unlimited monthly plan. The $55 plan includes unlimited talk, text and picture messaging, and unlimited data with first 2GB of high-speed data after which data are throttled. However, the price of the monthly plan can be lowered to as low as $40 per month after 18 on-time payments. After every six on-time payments, the monthly bill is $5 lower, until it reaches $15 off the original price.
Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III has also been spotted online few days ago at RadioShack, priced at $429.99. However, the price is removed now and users are redirected to look for it in store nearby.
