Boost and Virgin Mobile Alcatel Dawn Available for $69.99
Sprint today announced the Alcatel Dawn, new low cost smartphone for its prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. The Dawn is an entry-level smartphone that runs Marshmallow platform. Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile Alcatel Dawn are both available online for $69.99.

Boost and Virgin Mobile Alcatel Dawn Specs
In addition to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, Alcatel Dawn features a 4.5-inch TFT display, 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and support for up to 32GB of microSDHC cards. The phone has a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera for selfies, 3G/4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and support for mobile hotspot. A removable 1,780mAh Li-Ion battery powers the phone and provides up to 13 hours of talk time.
Boost Mobile Prepaid Plans
Boost Mobile Alcatel Dawn can be paired with $35 and $45 Growing Data plans and with $60 unlimited plan. The $35 growing data plan ($30 with auto pay) includes unlimited talk, text and 2GB of high speed data that can grow up to 5GB after 18 on-time payments; 500MB of additional data after every 3 on-time payments. The $45 growing data plan ($40 with auto pay) has 5GB of high speed data that can grow up to 8GB after 18 on-time payments. The $60 ($55 with auto pay) unlimited plan offers unlimited un-throttled high speed data. All plans also include unlimited music streaming that doesn’t count against plan’s high speed data, mobile hotspot and free incoming calls and texts for customers who haven’t paid for service for 60 days.
Virgin Mobile Prepaid Plans
Virgin Mobile Alcatel Dawn works with $30, $40 and $50 prepaid monthly plans. The$30 plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with first 500MB at high speeds, $40 has 4GB of high speed data while $50 plan offers first 6GB of data at high speeds. Virgin plans also include free unlimited music streaming, same as Boost.
Both carriers throttle their high speed data to 128Kbps until the next billing cycle when high speed data allotment is used up in a monthly plan.
