Brightspot Mobile lowers $35 talk and text plan to $30, adds a new $35 data-focused plan
Target’s Brightspot Mobile has made some changes to its prepaid plan lineup. The old $35 unlimited talk and messaging plan is now available for $30 per month. Also, there is a new $35 plan that includes unlimited data with 3GB at high speeds, 300 voice minutes and unlimited messaging. In this new monthly plan, additional voice minutes cannot be added.
After the changes, the Brightspot’s plan lineup includes four monthly plans, three with data and one without.
- A $30 monthly plan offers unlimited talk and messaging only, no data included.
- A $35 monthly plan offers 300 voice minutes, unlimited messaging and unlimited data with first 3 GB at high speeds.
- A $45 plan offers unlimited talk, messaging and data with first 1 GB at high speeds.
- A $55 plan offers unlimited talk, messaging and data with first 3 GB at high speeds. Previously, this plan included 4GB of high speed data.
Brightspot Mobile also includes international add-ons for $5 and $10 per month. For $5 per month, users get unlimited texting to over 200 countries while for $10 per month, they get unlimited texting to over 200 countries plus unlimited calling to landline numbers in more than 56 countries.
Target’s Brightspot Mobile operates on T-Mobile network and provides HSPA+ data. Customers can purchase a phone, service plans and refills at Target stores and on Brightspot’s website. They can also bring their own GSM handset and get a SIM Kit for $9.99. Also, the carrier rewards its customers after every 6 months with a $25 gift card. Those who use Target RED Card to refill will receive a 5 percent discount on their monthly bill.
T-Mobile’s own prepaid brand GoSmart Mobile has also made positive changes to its prepaid plan lineup few days ago.
