Consumer Cellular Offers ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base For Free Until Oct. 15, iPhone 7 coming Sept. 23
Consumer Cellular, a wireless service provider for AARP members, is running a promotion in which it offers the Wireless Home Phone Base for free. With the ZTE-made Home Phone Base, users’ home phone service will work with Consumer’s mobile phone plans. Consumer Cellular offers ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base for free for a limited time. Customers can order it until October 15, 2016. Shipping is also free.
The regular cost of the ZTE Home Phone Base is $50. The Base can work anywhere where there is a cellular signal and electrical outlet. Due to its size and lightness, the Base can be taken with when traveling if users don’t want to miss any calls. To get it to work, customers who already have an account at Consumer Cellular need to add a line for $10 per month. New customers need to activate service on one of the Consumer’s Talk plans.
Consumer Cellular Talk plans
- $10 per month – Pay -Per-Use minutes for 25¢ per each
- $15 per month – 250 voice minutes
- $20 per month – 1000 voice minutes
- $30 per month – 2000 voice minutes
- $40 per month – 4000 voice minutes
- $50 per month – unlimited talk
Customers can keep their home phone number and the same phone, too with a ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base. The only thing that would be different is that calls won’t be received through physical landline phone but through cellular service.
Consumer Cellular offers ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base online but also customers can call the carrier at (888) 345-5509 to order it. Since the Base and shipping are free, users will only pay sales tax where applicable.
The carrier also announced on its website the launch of the smaller of the Apple flagships, the iPhone 7. Consumer Cellular iPhone 7 will be available on September 23, 2016, the same day when MetroPCS, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile plan to launch it.
