Consumer Cellular users now free of activation fees

In an attempt to serve its customers better, Consumer Cellular, the number one rated prepaid cell phone service provider for AARP members, has announced that it will no longer charge activation of its cell phones and SIM cards, which makes Consumer Cellular users now free of activation fees.

This change relates to new customers when activating the phone for the first time as well as to current users when replacing or upgrading their phones. In addition to being free of activation fees, Consumer Cellular customers will also be granted free shipping.
