Cricket adds ZTE Engage LT to its Android lineup
Cricket has recently made available ZTE Engage LT for purchase on its website. The ZTE Engage LT is a successor of Cricket’s ZTE Engage, released in October 2012. However, the Engage LT doesn’t come with any improvements whatsoever. On the contrary, some specs are even lower than the original’s. Having said that, the same price point, $179.99, that both versions are available for when purchased from the carrier’s website, is even more unexpected.
Cricket Engage LT is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone that comes with a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display that’s resistant to fingerprints, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a main 3.2-megapixel camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The original ZTE Engage has a faster processor, 1.4GHz and better rear camera, 8-megapixel. Memory-wise, the Engage LT has a 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for expanding it additionally up to 32 GB while for connectivity, it uses 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi. To power it all, the phone uses 1900 mAh lithium-ion battery.
In addition, Cricket Engage LT features improved SRS WOW HD sound by Dolby Mobile as well as access to Muve Music service. The phone can be paired with Cricket’s prepaid monthly plans that start at $50 per month.
