Cricket Wireless Prepaid Plans
Cricket recently made plenty of changes to its prepaid plan offerings. First, it’s increased data allotments on the $40 plan (3GB up from 2.5GB) and the $60 plan (from 10GB to 12GB). It made promotional 8GB of data on the $50 plan a permanent offer. Also, Cricket has lowered the cost of its unlimited data plan from $70 to $60 per month ($55 with auto pay).
Therefore, the LG Fortune can be paired with the following Cricket plans:
- $30 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with first 1GB at 4G LTE speeds
- $40 plan ($35 with auto pay) – unlimited talk, text and data with first 3GB at 4G LTE speeds
- $50 plan ($45 with auto pay) – unlimited talk, text and data with first 8GB at 4G LTE speeds, unlimited international texting (SMS only) to 38 countries, unlimited calling, texting (text, picture and video messaging) and data roaming in Mexico and Canada
- $60 plan ($55 with auto pay) – unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data, unlimited international texting (SMS only) to 38 countries, unlimited calling, texting (text, picture and video messaging) and data roaming in Mexico and Canada
After high speed data allotment, Cricket throttles data speeds to around 128Kbps. Cricket limits LTE data to 8Mbps and 4G to 4Mbps. AT&T doesn’t limit download speeds on its prepaid division GoPhone. However, few days ago, AT&T has revealed the new $60 unlimited data plan with download speeds limited to 3Mbps.
