Cricket Nokia Lumia 530 might launch in the Q4 as Nokia Rock
First smartphone for Cricket Wireless since it’s acquired by AT&T has leaked. According to @evleaks, Cricket Wireless might add the Nokia Rock to its prepaid GSM phone lineup, also known as the Nokia Lumia 530. @evleaks expects Cricket Nokia Lumia 530 to become available sometime in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Nokia Lumia 530 is a sequel to the Nokia Lumia 520/521, one of the best selling Windows Phone smartphones ever and its follow-up, the Lumia 525. The Nokia Lumia 530 is an entry level Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone that’s also rumored to become part of T-Mobile’s lineup as the Nokia Rise. Since it’s still unannounced, the specs that follow are only speculations: a 4.3-inch (480 x 800) display, a 5-megapixel camera, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for up to 64GB of additional storage and 1430mAh battery.
Even though @evleaks is a highly reliable source and most devices revealed by them find their way to the destined carrier, still, all information above is unconfirmed and cannot be relied on until official statement from the carrier is issued.
