Cricket Wireless to offer Nokia Lumia 635 November 7
AT&T’s prepaid brand Cricket Wireless announced today that it will add the Nokia Lumia 635 to its prepaid lineup. Starting November 7, 2014, the Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone Lumia 635 will be available in Cricket stores and online for $99.99 in Cyan color.

In addition to the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS that comes with a personal assistant Cortana, the Nokia Lumia 635 has a 4.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 processor, 5-megapixel camera with video capture and 4G LTE connectivity. It comes preloaded with the Lumia Storyteller app that photos and videos groups “into stories” as well as with Kid’s Corner, Xbox Live, HERE Drive+, HERE Maps, Microsoft Office and more.
The Nokia Lumia 635, which is one step up from the Lumia 630 already offered by Cricket since July, can be paired with Cricket’s promotional prepaid service plans that start at $40 or $35 for those who sign in to Auto Pay. The $40 plan ($35 with Auto Pay) includes unlimited talk, messaging and data with first 1 GB at high speeds (was 500 MB). The $50 plan ($45 with Auto Pay) comes with first 3 GB at high speeds (was 2.5 GB) and the $60 plan ($55 with Auto Pay) has first 10 GB at high speeds (was 5 GB). Last two plans also include unlimited international texting to 35 countries.
Customers will be able to keep increased high speed data as long as they keep the account active or don’t switch to another plan. Cricket throttles data to 128 Kbps after high speed data allotment is reached in a month.
AT&T is offering the Nokia Lumia 635 through GoPhone as well.
