Cricket Wireless sells products through Meijer stores now
AT&T’s prepaid brand Cricket Wireless has started offering its products through Meijer stores in Midwest on June 27, 2015. Customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky can purchase new Cricket phones or Universal SIM Card Activation Kits if they want to bring their own compatible device (BYOD) to Cricket.
Ones customers purchase a new phone or SIM Card Activation Kit, they can activate it with Cricket service plans online, at Cricket’s website, that start at $40 per month. The plans include unlimited talk, text and data with 2.5 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB of high speed data for $40, $50 and $60 per month. All plans cost $5 less per month, $35, $45 or $55, if customers opt for paying their bills automatically. The last two higher priced plans also include unlimited international texting to 35 countries and unlimited calling and messaging to Mexico and Canada.
On this new strategic retail relationship with Meijer stores, Cricket’s Executive Director of Sales Operations, Reed Good, said: “Cricket is excited to be working with a fellow retail pioneer like Meijer. Meijer invented ‘one-stop shopping’ and Cricket ‘re-invented’ the no-contract shopping experience. Together, we share a deep commitment to providing consumers with a first-class retail experience that includes quality products and services at affordable prices. With Meijer, we’ll extend that commitment to even more consumers across the Midwest, helping them gain access to the smartest choice in wireless: Cricket Wireless.”
