Free Phones on MetroPCS for New and Existing Customers and Additional Data on $50 Plan
T-Mobile US’s MetroPCS has introduced couple of new promotions for its prepaid customers. The first promotion includes free phones on MetroPCS for new and existing customers while the second one offers additional data on $50 plan. Free MetroPCS phones and bonus data are available in stores only for a limited time.
Free Phones on MetroPCS
New MetroPCS customers or those who want to upgrade their existing phone can choose from a number of free 4G LTE smartphones. Existing customers who want to add additional line on their account are also eligible for a free phone offer. After all rebates, free phones on MetroPCS are: Samsung Galaxy On5, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, LG Aristo, LG K7, LG 450, ZTE Avid Trio, ZTE Avid Plus, ZTE Cymbal, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, Alcatel Fierce 4, Alcatel Tru and Coolpad Catalyst.
There are also three additional free handsets for customers who port their phone number from another carrier to MetroPCS. Free phones on MetroPCS for those who switch are the LG K10, HTC Desire 530 and the ZTE Zmax Pro.
MetroPCS Bonus Data on $50 Plan Offer
MetroPCS returns data increase on the $50 plan. The $50 plan that normally includes 5GB of high speed data will offer 8GB for a limited time. With this increase, customers can get up to 36 GB of additional high speed data for free for a year.
Customers can add additional lines on the $50 plan for $30 per month, up to four (total of five), where each line includes 8GB of high speed data.
MetroPCS was offering promotional 8GB of high speed data on $50 plan since October 2016 until recently. Now that it’s back, it matches again with Cricket. Cricket started running similar promotion at about the same time last year and it’s still running it.
