GoPhone Data Packages Now Include More Data
AT&T’s prepaid brand GoPhone has recently changed data allotments included with Data Packages. GoPhone Data Packages that can be added to the $30, $45 or $60 plan now include more data.
The $5 data add-on that can be added to the $30 plan now includes 250 MB of data instead of previous 100 MB. The $10 data add-on on the $45 plan that used to offer 500 MB of data now includes 1GB. To the $60 plan, customers were able to add just one option, 1 GB for $10 but now additional option has been included, 3 GB for $20.
Customers can add data package to the $2 daily plan, 100 MB for $1 per day, too.
GoPhone Data Packages
After the latest change, GoPhone Data Packages now look like this:
- $5/250 MB data package can be added to the $30 plan (was $5/100 MB data)
- $10/1 GB data package can be added to the $45 plan (was $10/500 MB data)
- $10/1 GB or $20/3 GB data packages can be added to the $60 plan (only $10/1 GB was available)
Data included in packages on plans with data allotments, $45 and $60 plans, will be used first, before plan’s data. Therefore, customers should try to add data add-on after they spend regular data included in their plans.
GoPhone Monthly Plans
With GoPhone’s $30, $45 and $60 plans, customers get unlimited talk and messaging in the US and messaging in Mexico, Canada and over 100 countries. The $30 plan doesn’t include data but for $5, customers can add 250 MB. The $45 and $60 plans include unlimited data with first 3 GB and 6 GB at high speed, respectively. After high speed data allotments, data speeds are throttled to a max of 128Kbps. Both $45 and $60 plans offer rollover data where data rollover for one month. Also, both plans are eligible for multi-line discounts, which are introduced back in August. The $60 plan additionally offers unlimited talk and text from the U.S. to Mexico and Canada and talk, text and data usage in Mexico and Canada.
Customers can get all three monthly plans for $5 less per month if they enroll in auto pay.
