GoPhone Kyocera Hydro Air available for $99.99 at Walmart
AT&T’s prepaid brand GoPhone is now offering the Kyocera Hydro Air, a smartphone great for outdoors. The phone is built to Military Standard 810G that makes it resistant to shock and drop. It’s IP57 rated for being waterproof (can be one meter under water for up to 30 minutes) and its display can resists to impact. GoPhone Kyocera Hydro Air is available for $99.99 at Walmart.

Even though the phone is water resistant, Kyocera warns the owners on its website that the phone is not for use under water but should be dried as quickly as possible if it gets wet. In addition to being certified for water, shock, drop and impact resistance, the Hydro Air features a large 5-inch HD (960 x 540) display that can be used with wet fingers thanks to Wet Touchscreen Operation. The phone has Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and support for micro SD cards up to 32GB.
The phone has a 5-megapixel rear camera with full HD video capture, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity. A 2,300mAh lithium-ion battery powers the Kyocera Hydro Air and provides up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 24 days of standby time.
GoPhone Kyocera Hydro Air can be paired with the $45 and the $60 monthly service plans that include unlimited talk, text and data with first 1.5GB and 4GB at 4G LTE speeds, respectively. When high speed data limit is reached in a month, data speeds are reduced to around 128 Kbps until the next billing cycle. Also, the $60 plan includes unlimited calling and texting in and between U.S., Mexico, and Canada and plan’s high-speed data can be used in Mexico or Canada.
GoPhone is also offering a $5 discount each month on these two plans if customers sign in to Auto Pay. The $45 and the $60 plans also feature rollover data. Any unused data in the monthly cycle will be available for use for another 30 days. First, data that are part of regular monthly plan allowance will be used or any data package and then data rolled over from the previous month.
