Gosmart Offers Free Month of Service for New Customers Who Bring Their Phone
TracFone owned GoSmart Mobile that operates on T-Mobile network is running a new promotion. GoSmart offers free month of service to new customers who bring their own phone. The offer is available online only for a limited time.
In order to qualify for the new GoSmart promotion, customers must activate their compatible unlocked GSM phone with one of carrier’s monthly prepaid plans by April 3, 2017. This offer applies only if customers purchase SIM card and a service plan. The SIM is available for $8. Carrier will add free service when users activate the phone.
GoSmart Prepaid Monthly Plans
Plans that customers can choose from offer 3G high-speed data. However, each plan comes with unlimited 4G LTE access to Facebook and Facebook Messenger, too. Besides unlimited international texting to more than 200 countries, the plans include:
- $25 monthly plan – unlimited talk and text
- $35 monthly plan ($30 with auto pay) – unlimited talk, text and data with first 4GB at high-speed (3G)
- $45 monthly plan – unlimited talk, text and data with first 12.5 GB at high-speeds (3G
- $55 monthly plan – unlimited talk, text and data with first 20 GB at high-speeds (3G)
After high speed 3G data allotments, customers have access to 2G data or around 128Kbps until the next monthly cycle.
GoSmart International Features
Customers can also add more international features to plans for extra $10 per month. For $10, they will get a $50 international allowance for calling any mobile or landline number in more than 200 countries, unlimited outbound international landline calls to over 70 countries as well as lower rates for calling mobiles in Mexico, Canada, China and Spain.
GoSmart customers can also purchase a $10 Global Calling Card for international roaming in Canada, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. This card that doesn’t include service days can also be used for making international calls in the US in which case, per minute rate applies.
GoSmart Mobile used to be T-Mobile’s prepaid brand until TracFone’s acquired it in September 2016.
