Metro PCS Plans: Family, Unlimited, BlackBerry and 4g LTE Plans
Seems like the Metro PCS means real business. They became very competitive to other very strong providers even though they are regional prepaid operator and don’t have the widest coverage possible. They have very affordable but also very functional and well-featured phones. On the other side, Metro PCS plans are practical, affordable and very competitive. They thought of almost every group of users who need to save as much as possible: families who need more than one phone and people who talk, text and browse a lot. So let’s see what they have to offer us.
Metro PCS family plan – all Metro PCS plans are eligible for the Family Plan
Metro PCS family plan is a great way for a family to provide phones for all members. The limit is up to five lines per family and family can save up to $25 per month. The plan offers users a $5 discount per line so if you have two family members, for example, that are on $40 unlimited plan, plans will cost just $70 after $5 discount on each.
Metro PCS family plan is available with any cell phone and any service plan (including 4G LTE service plans) except with “By the Minute” or “By the Week” rate plans. Within it, Metro PCS plans and phones can be mixed and everyone can choose cell phone or service plan that they prefer. The $5 discount will be applied on whatever they choose.
Metro PCS unlimited plans
Unlimited Metro PCS plans are offering unlimited service for $40, $45 and $50. For $40 a month users get unlimited voice, texting and Web access through Unlimited MetroWEB.
For $45 a month, everything from previous plan is included plus some additional features. Some of them are Visual Voice Mail, Unlimited Short Codes and Alerts for receiving informational alerts from your community, International Text Messaging, seeing the caller’s name before you answer and unlimited news, sports, weather, maps, and more.
For $50 a month, you have it all from the $45 plan and Visual Voice Mail Plus that sends your listed messages via text so you can read them. Also, unlimited MetroNavigator for GPS as well as instant messaging, Loopt GPS Friend Finder and unlimited email access with alerts for new emails received are available.
And one important note, you can switch Metro PCS plans any time, easily.
Blackberry Metro PCS plan – the BlackBerry Curve 8530 with $60 Unlimited Talk, Text, Web and Data Service Plan
The BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone is the one that carries a flat-rate $60 unlimited blackberry plan. It includes unlimited talk, text, web and data service, email and turn-by-turn GPS. With phones features as Wi-Fi support, full HTML, full QWERTY keyboard, built-in BlackBerry Messenger, corporate email support, 2.0 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and external memory support for up to 32 GB, it is clear how the BlackBerry 8530 will use this plan to the fullest.
MetroPCS’ New 4G LTE Plan
If you are interested for 4G technology that promises more service flexibility, more entertainment and more superior web experience, you must take a look at 4G LTE Metro PSC Plans. There are three plans available.
The first 4G LTE Rate Plan for $40 a month includes unlimited talk, text, picture messaging and Unlimited MetroWEB, using the 4G Network and 100MB of multimedia streaming access.
For $50, 4G LTE Rate Plan provides additional features as unlimited international text messaging, GPS, instant messaging but also 4G web and 1GB of multimedia streaming access.
For $60, 4G LTE Unlimited Premium Plan is available with unlimited everything. In addition, 4G Video On Demand (featuring MetroSTUDIO) as well as unlimited multimedia streaming access are available. This plan is the one that will allow streaming services, real-time internet gaming, downloading video or music and all other internet activities.
Just note that you will not benefit much from Metro PCS plans for 4G LTE service unless you are in Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Sacramento and San Francisco or in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa but in 2011.
