MetroPCS LG Stylo 2 Plus To Launch Soon With Free Folio Case Promotion
T-Mobile owned MetroPCS will soon launch the LG Stylo 2 Plus, smartphone with a large 5.7-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera and fingerprint unlock. However, before the launch, the carrier is offering a promotion in which customers can pre-register, purchase the MetroPCS LG Stylo 2 Plus and get a free Folio Case. The cost of the latest MetroPCS smartphone or its release date hasn’t been officially revealed. However, earlier leaked internal document obtained by Pocketnow has showed its cost to be $149 and a launch date June 27, 2016.
In order to be eligible for a free folio case promotion, customers need to pre-register for the Stylo 2 Plus starting today, June 10 until June 26, 2016. They need to purchase the phone on or before July 31, 2016 and to submit the proof of the purchase by August 31, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM ET. If everything is done properly, customers will receive their free folio case by mail.
In the same leaked document above mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy On5 has appeared as a new upcoming MetroPCS smartphone, too. However, it appears that the On5 is a lower-end smartphone than Stylo 2 Plus given its leaked cost of $59. Its launch date is also set on June 27.
At the beginning of this month, MetroPCS also launched the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) for $179 and the LG K10 for 159 but currently the K10 can be purchased for $99. The LG K10 features Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, 5.3-inch HD IPS display, 1.27GHz quad-core processor, up to 9.72GB of available memory to user, 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with gesture shot and selfie light. The phone uses 4G LTE, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Calling for connectivity and a 2220mAh battery to power it all. The battery provides up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 264 hours of standby time.
