MetroPCS Samsung Galaxy S7 available for pre-orders, Boost Mobile S7 landing on March 11
In addition to AT&T’s Cricket Wireless, two other prepaid brands have announced the Samsung’s latest flagship, T-Mobile’s MetroPCS and Sprint’s Boost Mobile. MetroPCS Samsung Galaxy S7 is now available for pre-orders on carrier’s website while Boost’s version is announced on its Facebook and Twitter account. Boost Mobile Galaxy S7 will arrive on March 11, 2016.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch quad HD display with “always on” notifications, octa-core Exynos processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for up to 200 GB of additional storage. It has a 12-megapixel camera with improved performance in low-light conditions, 5-megapixels front-facing camera, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, micro USB port, and a non-removable 3,000mAh battery with wireless charging features. The Galaxy S7 is optimized for gaming (supports Vulkan API gaming technology) and it’s water-resistant.
With pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S7 on MetroPCS, customers will get a free Gear VR powered by Oculus (normally valued at $100) and a six Gear VR game-bundle (normally costs $50). In order to qualify, customers need to pre-register with valid email, purchase a Galaxy S7 by March 18, go to SamsungPromotions.com/GearVR to submit the requested information that need to include the same email used for pre-registering. After that, customers need to fill out the online form and upload an image of their receipt by March 21, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM ET (or March 31 as both dates are showed at website), and to expect to receive their Gear VR within 4 to 6 weeks of verification. In order to access six Gear VR games for free, customers need to create an Oculus account and to download the games by April 20, 2016.
All four major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and regional U.S. Cellular have started taking pre-orders today for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Their customers are also eligible for free gifts.
