Motorola offers Net10 Moto X for $299 for a limited time
Almost a year old Moto X has been offered by now through many postpaid and prepaid carriers in the US but TracFone’s NET10 hasn’t been one of them until now. Customers could’ve got their own unlocked Moto X and activate it with a NET10 SIM all this time but now unlocked Net10 Moto X is directly offered through Motorola Moto Maker’s website. The promotion is good through July 16, 2014.
The starting price, before customization, of the 16GB GSM Moto X with a NET10 SIM card is $299. Other versions of the Moto X, 32GB and 64GB, are also $50 off of the regular price so they can now be purchased for $349.99 and $399.99, respectively. To customize it, choose back or front color, wallpaper, a greeting message or to write something on the phone, doesn’t cost extra unless customer chooses one of the wood backs that cost additional $25. Customers can also purchase one of the available cases or shells for Moto X if they prefer, which are currently also discounted.
The cost of the Motorola Moto X has been reduced many times since it’s launched. Even though it’s almost a year old, this phone is still a flagship and worth the money due to Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage (little less), a 4.7-inch display, 10-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capture and a 2-magapixel front-facing one plus a Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery that powers it all. Unlocked GSM Moto X is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile’s 4G and LTE networks.
