New FreedomPop Plan for $49 a Year Offers 1000 Texts, 1000 Minutes and 1GB Data Every Month
AT&T and Sprint MVNO FreedomPop has introduced a new plan that offers service through a whole year. The new FreedomPop plan with 1000 texts, 1000 voice minutes and 1GB of data each month is available for $49 per year.
By purchasing this plan, customers will get the service for just $4.08 per month, which is currently the cheapest plan with minutes, text and data on the market. The plan is on Sprint network although it might be that customers can choose from AT&T coverage, too. Voice calls made on the FreedomPop’s $49 plan are VOIP- based meaning they are made over Internet and not over provider.
FreedomPop also bundles the new $49 yearly plan with two phones. If purchased with the LG Tribute, customers need to pay $79 for the service and the phone. Those who prefer a better phone than Tribute will need to pay more. The Samsung Galaxy S5 and annual plan are available for $149.
This plan sounds great since many carriers for this money would offer its customers 1000 texts, 1000 voice minutes and 1GB of data per year rather than each month. Even with calls being VOIP-based, this offer really saves money to users who are budged conscious.
