New Project Fi Referral Program Offers $20 Credit to Both Involved Sides for a Limited Time
Google’s Project Fi is running a new promotion during holidays. Instead of discounted service or phones, Project Fi offers $20 credit for referring a friend. New Project Fi referral program called ‘Share the Fi Love’ gives $20 credit to both customer who refers a friend and to the friend who signs in with Project Fi service.
Project Fi Referral Program Terms
To refer a friend, Project Fi customers need to get a unique invitation code. For that, they should go to the Project Fi app, select Account and search for the ‘Refer a friend’ banner or the link. Ones users click on it, they will see their unique invitation code that they need to send to the friend they want to invite to Project Fi. Friend who receives invitations must accept it until January 11, 2017 in order to qualify for $20 credit. And that’s not all. New subscriber who joins Project Fi must stay with their service for at least 30 days and pay for the second month of service. Only then, referrer and the new project Fi member will be credited $20.
There is a limit of 10 referrals that a person can make. Also, members who are part of a group plan are not eligible for the new Project Fi referral program. And last, both sides involved must agree that they can see each other’s information as names, contact details, referral status and other.
When all these requirements are met, user that’s referred a friend and a friend that’s been referred will have a $20 credit applied to their next bill.
Google’s Project Fi relies on WiFi and Sprint and T-Mobile cellular networks for service. They offer unlimited talk, text and international texting for $20 per month. One gigabyte of data is available for $10 per month. Project Fi customers can also roam in more than 135 countries. The carrier gives money back for unused data and works only with select handsets. Those are the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Google Pixel, and Google Pixel XL.
