New Pure TalkUSA Plans Launching October 1, Hotspot and Unlimited Throttled Data Included
AT&T MVNO Pure TalkUSA today announced new set of prepaid monthly plans. The carrier’s representative announced them on Howard Forums. New Pure TalkUSA plans will launch on October 1, 2017. Changes that new plans will bring are not focused on high speed data increases but on making the data unlimited and allowing mobile hotspot.
Currently, Pure TalkUSA plans offer high speed data allotments which are hard capped. When users use up their data during a month, they stay without until the next monthly cycle. Starting October 1, customers will be able to continue to use data after their high speed data allotment is used up but at slower speeds. The data on all plans will be throttled to up to 128 Kbps, according to Pure TalkUSA representative.
New Pure TalkUSA Plans
Carrier’s new set of plans isn’t that much different from the current plans. The $10 plan with 300 minutes, 300 SMS, 50 MMS and 50 MB of data will be discontinued. Instead, there is a new $20 plan with unlimited talk, text and data with 500 MB at high speed. The $24 and $29 plans cost $1 more while the $35/5GB plan remains the same. The $45 plan, however, comes with 10 GB of data instead of current 7GB.
The new plans, when listed, look like this:
- $20 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with 500 MB at high speed (new)
- $25 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with 1 GB at high speed (was $24)
- $30 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with 3 GB at high speed (was $29)
- $35 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with 5 GB at high speed
- $45 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with 10 GB at high speed (was 7GB)
In case some customers do not get access to hotspot, they can contact the carrier at firstname.lastname@example.org with account information, according to Pure TalkUSA representative.
