New TPO Mobile Infinity Plan Offers 50GB Data for $59.99 for a Limited Time
T-Mobile and Sprint MVNO TPO Mobile (The People’s Operator US) has added a new Infinity Plan recently to its prepaid plan offerings. New TPO Mobile Infinity Plan offers unlimited talk, text and data with 50GB at high speed for $59.99 a month. The cost of the plan additionally drops to $54.99 if customers enroll in auto pay. However, this plan is a limited time offer that’s available to users until October 31, 2016.
The new TPO Mobile Infinity Plan has yet another limitation. The plan is available to CDMA customers only which means it works with Sprint network. Also, the plan doesn’t allow tethering, meaning data can be used only on primary device.
In addition to adding a new unlimited promotional plan, the carrier has returned the cost of its Noble plan from $33 to $30 per month. The $30 Noble plan offers unlimited talk and text plus 2GB of high speed data.
TPO Mobile Plans
Just like the Noble plan, all other TPO plans offer hard capped high speed data except for the new Infinity Plan. The plans are:
- $21 Kind plan ($16 with autopay) includes 1000 minutes of talk, unlimited text and 500MB of high speed data
- $26 People’s plan ($21 with autopay) includes unlimited talk and text, 1GB of high speed data
- $30 Noble plan ($28 with autopay) includes unlimited talk and text, 2GB of high speed data – (was $33)
- $40 Caring plan ($35 with autopay) includes unlimited talk and text, 3GB of high speed data
- $55 Hero plan ($50 with autopay) includes unlimited talk and text, 5GB of high speed data
- $59.99 Infinity Plan ($54.99 with autopay) includes unlimited talk, text and data with 50GB at high speed – limited time offer
New TPO Mobile Infinity Plan Compared To Other Plans
A 50GB of high speed data for $60 a month or $55 with auto pay is a great offer. However, customers on Sprint network can also go for a Boost Mobile’s $50 Unlimited Unhook’d plan. While TPO is offering unlimited data with 50GB at high speed with no hotspot allowed, Boost’s $50 Unhook’d plan offers unlimited 4G LTE data but streaming on this plan is limited: videos at 480p, music at 500kbps and gaming at 2mbps. Data from Boost’s $50 plan can be used on other devices too but hotspot data is limited to 8GB of 4G LTE data. Still, Boost says that customers who use more than 23GB of data will be de-prioritized when Sprint network is constrained.
Customers who have T-Mobile coverage can take advantage of unlimited 4G LTE data for $60 per month on Simple Mobile, Telcel America and MetroPCS. None of these carriers offer auto pay discount on these plans, which TPO does. Also, Simple Mobile and Telcel America are TracFone subsidiaries so it wouldn’t be the first time for customers to have problems for overuse even though they paid for unlimited 4G LTE data. Maybe that leaves only MetroPCS, which is T-Mobile’s prepaid brand (not a MVNO) that users can rely on.
On AT&T network, closest to the TPO’s unlimited plan comes Cricket’s $70 monthly plan with unlimited un-throttled 4G LTE data (LTE limited to 8Mbps).
TPO Mobile Promotion
TPO currently offers 50% off of select plans for the first month of service. Plans included in the offer are $21, $26, $30 and $40 plans. Customers need to activate the service before October 31 in order to take advantage of the promo. The offer is good through October 17, 2016.
TPO Mobile does not include taxes and fees into plans’ monthly costs. However they donate 10% of user’s monthly bill to charity that user chooses. The carrier also donates 25% of its corporate profits to the TPO Foundation that distributes them to good causes.
