Three new TracFone Android phones discovered a week ago together with the Samsung Galaxy Centura, first Android phone released for this prepaid carrier, have become available. Just as expected, the phones are LG Optimus Dynamic (L38C), Huawei Glory (H868C) and ZTE Valet (Z665C). They are spotted in stores of different retailers so they are probably available, same as Centura, for days now. TracFone’s website doesn’t include any of the new Android phones.
The LG Optimus Dynamic is Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone with a 3.2-inch (320×240) display, 800 MHz processor, 3 MB of internal storage, a 3-megapixel camera with video capture, GPS and it ships with a 4GB memory card. The Huawei Glory is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone with a 3.5-inch (320x 480) display, 800 MHz processor, 2GB of internal storage, 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture and GPS. The ZTE Valet is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean phone that comes with a 3.5-inch (320x 480) display, 1GHz single-core processor, 3-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi in addition to shipping with a 4GB memory card. The ZTE Valet has been spotted in BestBuy store for $99.99.
All TracFone Android phones run on Verizon network and include Triple Minutes for Life feature that triples every airtime card added to the phone. If customers purchase a 60-minute card for $19.99, they will get 180 minutes, 180 texts and 180MB of data while 120-minute card will give them 360 minutes, 360 texts and 360MB of data. In addition, TracFone customers will be able to add more data by purchasing data cards with 2GB of data for $50, 750MB for $20 and 300MB for $10. Data only cards are available on the TracFone’s website.
