Page Plus 1GB data promotion on “The 55” plan, cuts data overage rate to 10¢ per MB on monthly plans
Year 2012 has started quite well for Page Plus customers. According to Kitty Wireless, Verizon MVNO Page Plus raises 500MB of data to 1GB on “The 55” plan during promotion period, which is until the end of 2012. To receive Page Plus 1GB data promotion, customers need to subscribe to “The 55” plan starting January 18, 2012 and until February 29, 2012. Subscribing on March 1st and after means that users are not entitled to this data promotion any more.
For already existing customers, “The 55” plan data promotion is also on if they renew throughout the same period, between January 18 and February 29. This “Leap Year Special” promotion can be discontinued by going back and forth between other plans or providers while change of phones or phone numbers will not influence 1GB data promotion.
In addition to “Leap Year Special”, another good thing is happening for Page Plus customers. Also as of January 18th, 2012, overage data rates on two additional plans will be lowered to 10¢ per MB. Those are the $55 monthly plan (“The 55” plan) and Unlimited Talk n Text 20MB plan for $39.95. This will make a total of three monthly plans with 10¢ per MB for data overage since the $29.95 monthly plan with 1200 minutes, 3000 texts and 100MB of data already uses this rate.
This is actually a great change if you keep in mind that right now Page Plus charges users for data overage 25¢ per MB on $55 plan and 15¢ per MB on the $39.95 plan so cutting it down to10¢ is great offer. Also, having the data doubled for almost a year, for the same price, due to the Page Plus 1GB data promotion is definitely something users, current and new ones, should go for.
