PrepaYd Wireless announces LTE
Sprint MVNO PrepaYd Wireless has announced adding access to LTE. PrepaYd LTE service is available through the carrier’s new LTE $60 monthly plan and refill PINs. So far, they have been offering 4G data but on WiMAX network. PrepaYd LTE is not available online yet, only through PrepaYd dealers, for now.
New PrepaYd’s LTE plan for $60 per month includes unlimited talk, global text, MMS and LTE data. Their message posted on PrepaYd Wireless dealer portal provides a little more information on the subject:
“PrepaYd Wireless is pleased to announce we now have 4G LTE! Our LTE $60 Plan offers Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Global Text, MMS, and 4G LTE Data is available for $60 per month. Our LTE plan is currently only available for customers that activate at a Dealer location. Our existing Y $60 plan PIN and RTR topups are only valid for 4G WiMAX Devices so please make sure to only purchase and apply the LTE $60 Plan PIN and RTR topups for phones that have 4G LTE technology. The new plans will be available on epay after 12pm Eastern Time. Please contact Dealer Support with any questions. “
In addition to a new LTE $60 plan, PrepaYd Wireless has monthly plans that include $35 and $40 feature phone plans and $45, $50 and $60 smartphone plans. All plans come with international texting.
- The Y $35 plan includes unlimited talk and text for feature phones.
- The Y $40 plan adds access to web to unlimited talk and text for feature phones.
- The Y $45 plan adds picture messaging to unlimited talk, text and web (feature phones and smartphones).
- The Y $50 plan includes everything unlimited but 3G speeds.
- The Y $60 plan has everything unlimited 4G WiMAX.
Currently, Sprint covers 230 markets with LTE. Customers can purchase a phone from PrepaYd or bring their own device that’s not Boost or Virgin Mobile phone, iPhone, Blackberry, Palm, Push to Talk phone or “less than one year old” Sprint’s phone.
