Project Fi Bill Protection Plans
Project Fi smartphones work with new Bill Protection plans. Instead of paying $20 per month for unlimited talk and text and $10 per GB of data regardless of how much data they need, users now stop paying for data when they reach 6GB or $60 per month.
Now if they use 10GB of data, they will still pay $60 per month and $20 for unlimited talk and text, but for using less than 6GB of data, users will pay, as before, only for what they’ve used. However, users that go over 15 GB of usage during a monthly cycle will experience reduced data speeds to 256 kbps for the rest of the month. For those who need more high speed data than 15 GB per month, customers can pay $10 per month for 1GB of data.
For multi-line plans, customers will maximally pay $100/10GB for 2 lines, $120/12GB for 3 lines, $140/14GB for 4 lines, $160/16GB for 5 lines and $180/18GB for 6 lines.
Project Fi customers can also roam in more than 135 countries. The carrier uses simultaneously Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and WiFi networks to provide service.
