PTel offering free month of service for switching from another carrier
T-Mobile MVNO PTel Mobile is currently running a promotion that offers a free month of service to customers who bring their number to PTel from another carrier. Not all carriers are eligible for this limited time offer but a large number of them are and they are listed on PTel’s website. Some of them are Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, Verizon, Air Voice Wireless, Consumer Cellular, FreedomPop, H20 Wireless and many more. Also the offer is not available with all monthly service plans. PTel’s free month of service works only with the $35, $50, or $65 Unlimited Everything plans.
Customers who switch to Ptel from another carrier need to purchase first month of service and get a SIM card. They need to activate new service with one of the eligible plans in order to receive the second month of service free. Within seven days from successful service activation, customers will receive $35, $50, or $65 on their account, depending on the plan they have activated their service with. PTel also notes that this promotion can be combined with other PTel promotions. The plans that this limited time offer works with include:
- $35 plan – unlimited talk, unlimited domestic/international SMS, unlimited MMS, unlimited data with first 500MB at 4G LTE speeds and $5 international calling credit
- $50 plan – unlimited talk, unlimited domestic/international SMS, unlimited MMS, unlimited data with first 2GB at 4G LTE speeds and $5 international calling credit
- $65 plan – unlimited talk unlimited domestic/international SMS, unlimited MMS, unlimited data with first 4GB at 4G LTE speeds and $10 international calling credit
When high speed data allotment is reached in a month, data speeds are throttled to 128Kbps until the next monthly cycle.
