Ready SIM and Solavei to offer LTE ones T-Mobile deploys it
T-Mobile MVNOs Ready SIM and Solavei have both confirmed to Fierce Wireless that they are planning to include 4G LTE to its offer ones T-Mobile deploys it. Ultra Mobile, on the other hand, wasn’t so definite but Chris Furlong, Ultra Mobile’s executive vice president of product development, said that they “will definitely consider LTE when it’s possible” since they have their customers’ best interest always at hand.
Ready SIM’s senior vice president of business development, Emir Aboulhosn, said that since they are T-Mobile MVNO, ones “LTE is available we will offer it as well simply because it’s there.” At the same time, T-Mobile stated that they have “not made any commitments to MVNO partners regarding timing of when they may have access to T-Mobile’s LTE network, and not all partners may receive access.”
T-Mobile’s 4G LTE deployment will start soon in areas as Las Vegas and Kansas City. Furthermore, at CES 2013 the company has announced its plans of covering 100 million people with 4G LTE by the middle of 2013 and 200 million by the time this year ends.
Prepaid LTE is always good news. LTE data speeds were privilege of postpaid customers only. Now T-Mobile MVNOs Ready SIM and Solavei have committed to offer LTE ones it’s available, Sprint’s prepaid brands Boost and Virgin Mobile are also expected to launch their first LTE handsets in Q1 while Sprint’s MVNO Ting is already offering “LTE everywhere the Sprint network does.”
