RingPlus 2014 Free Plan to be available again on March 28
Sprint MVNO RingPlus will be offering its free BYOSD plan again on March 28, starting at noon until 12:30 PM Pacific Time. According to their forum, RingPlus 2014 free plan will include 200 minutes, 500 SMS and 50 MB of data. However, if carrier changes the voice minutes or SMS allotments in the meantime, the customers will be informed.
The new free plan is available to all new customers that would like to take advantage of this add-supported free plan. Although free, the RingPlus still charges taxes. Also, existing 2013 free BYOSD (Bring Your Own Sprint Device) plan users can switch to the new 2014 free plan, according to the carrier. They need to send a ticket to firstname.lastname@example.org, their phone number and ESN by March 27, 2014, 10 PM PST in order to be switched. The old 2013 plan includes 325 minutes, 70 texts and 10 MB of data. Also, for the old plan, different set of rules that prevent users from loosing their service apply.
Additional minutes, texts and data for the new RingPlus 2014 free plan are 2 cents per minute, 2 cents per text, 2 cents per MB and 7 cents per picture messages. Also, RingPlus should start activating iPhone 4 and 4S right before it signs up the new customers on its new free BYOSD plan.
