For nationwide sale, it will be offered November 2nd. However, also starting November 2nd, users who prefer to pay less for the handset and don’t mind being tide up to a long-term contract, will get the Samsung Exhibit II 4G available for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. It comes in a marine blue color.
Update to the Samsung Exhibit II 4G prepaid for T-Mobile review
The Samsung Exhibit II 4G runs on an HSPA+ 14.4 network, not on the maximum 4G speeds of T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42 network, but still provides satisfying results. Users can expect downloads from just under 1 mbps to 4.5 and upload from around 250 kbps to 1.4 mbps. For streaming videos via Netflix or taking advantage of supported on-board apps like Qik and T-Mobile TV, the speed is more than fast. When not running on T-Mobile’s 4G speeds, it falls down to 3G speeds.

If you have difficulty with typing texts due to the smaller screen, there is a Swipe option for text input to make it easier or if the phone’s buttery lasts short (1500mAh lithium ion battery), try to lower the display brightness even though you will have a problem completing any task on a direct sunlight, no matter what you do.
The only really low spec that Samsung Exhibit II 4G prepaid offers, a main 3-megapixel camera, does not produce that low quality pictures in practice comparing to higher resolution cameras. The images are quite decent even though they miss on a bit more brightness and that’s when watched on the phone, however, when uploaded to Facebook or Twitter account, the look differs, not to its favor. But, in general, for the price that Samsung Exhibit II 4G prepaid is available for, $199.99 with no contract through Walmart, and being compatible with exclusive to Walmart, $30 plan that offers 100 voice minutes, unlimited text and data with first 5GB at 4G speeds, this phone is a real bargain. Otherwise, on T-Mobile’s website, the phone is priced at $249.99.

Yet, exclusive part of this offer is that this T-Mobile’s latest 4G enabled smartphone has the privilege to be the first no contract 4G phone sold at Walmart.
Specs wise, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G runs on a single-core 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It features a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen (480 X 800), a main 3-megapixel camera with flash and video recording and a front-facing camera for video calls. Also, the phone is equipped with MicroSd card slot for up to 32GB of expanding memory, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity as well as WiFi hotspot ability for connecting up to eight devices on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.
In addition, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G provides access to apps like T-Mobile TV in mobile HD and Samsung Media Hub for entertainment, popular Google services or Microsoft Exchange for syncing email as well as access to around 500.000 apps from Android Market, according to latest findings of research2guidance.
The two latest added T- Mobile plans, one for $30, exclusive to Walmart, that offers 100 voice minutes, unlimited text and data with first 5GB at 4G speeds, or another one for $60, unlimited monthly plans with 2GB at 4G speeds and unlimited talk and text might be the best fit for the Samsung Exhibit II 4G. Of course, unlimited plan for $70 is also one of the possibilities, same as all other available plans by the way, but this one comes with everything unlimited and first 5GB at 4G speeds. However, if you are not much of a talker, maybe the $30 Walmart plan is better option due to bigger monthly saving.
All specs that this phone offers are actually quite good except the main camera but if that’s not too much of an issue for you, you get the good deal here for the money, without annual contract.

No it’s not! I have called several Walmart Supercenters and no one knows anything about this phone. Please give a location for a single Walmart that has this in stock today.
Thanks for your comment.

“I just popped over to the local Walmart to see if I could pick one of these up…
they got 5 in this morning, and whilst they show up in inventory, not one of them would activate so I couldn’t get one in the end
needless to say the manager of the wireless section had gone home (he works 5am(!) to 2pm)… they suggested coming back tomorrow(!)”
I am sorry for upsetting you but there are much confusion revolving this phone according to people’s comments. So, obviously in some stores the phones arrived but are not available and is some they are not available at all so in the end I cannot give a location for a single Walmart that has this in stock today.
Thanks
