Samsung Galaxy E5 coming to TracFone
TracFone is about to offer a new entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy E5, according to Samsung. The manufacturer has revealed the specs of the Samsung Galaxy E5 on its website and that this phone is intended for TracFone. The phone is available in white color but when exactly it might be released by TracFone or for how much is unknown for now.
The Samsung Galaxy E5 features a 5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED (1280 x 720) display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and support for microSD card up to 64GB. The phone runs Android 5.0.2, Lollipop OS and has 8-megapixel rear camera, 1080p Full HD video recording, 720p playback and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle selfie lens. In addition, the Galaxy E5 features Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS and LTE for connectivity, while 2400mAh rechargeable lithium battery powers the phone and provides up to 15 days of talk time and up to 25 hours of standby time.
The Samsung Galaxy E5 also comes with accelerometer, hall sensor, proximity sensors, voice recognition and more.
Currently, TracFone Samsung Galaxy E5 is offered by the HSN for $349.95 but in the cost are included car charger, case and 400-minute PIN with 1200 minutes, texts and data with 365 days of service, Triple Minutes for Life and Pandora One subscription.
Straight talk is also offering this phone. Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy E5 is available at Walmart for $199. Straight Talk has been offering it on its website shortly too but now it’s not listed any more.
