Samsung Galaxy S3 on MetroPCS, other seven handsets leaked
Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the best Android handsets, if not the best, offered so far by Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular. However, according to MetroPCS’s roadmap that leaked on Android Forums, that shows total of eight 4G LTE handsets planed for releasing through the end of this year, we’ll probably see Samsung Galaxy S3 on MetroPCS soon, somewhere “after September and before December.”
If leaked roadmap is to be trusted, Samsung Galaxy S3 is set last for release. However, MetroPCS plans to start with other handsets’ launch as soon as August 6, when Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G will be offered. Lightray 4G leaked recently with specs that leave us uncertain on what class of handset it is, midrange or a bit higher-end.
Since August is the busiest month, after the Lightray, users can expect the Coolpad Quattro 4G on August 22 as well as the LG Motion 4G and the ZTE Anthem, both set for August 29. The Coolpad Quattro 4G supposedly features Gingerbread, a 1GHz processor, a 4-inch WVGA display, 3-megapixel camera and 512 MB of RAM, the LG Motion 4G is Ice Cream Sandwich phone while ZTE Anthem’s specs are unknown for now.
The shortage of information is also present for the Huawei Pinnacle 2, set for release in the early September as well as for the Samsung Contour 2, expected in mid September. For the Huawei Verge, there are no any info whatsoever but since it’s listed before Galaxy S3, probably will be released before it.
Even though we might have the complete list of handsets planed for released by MetroPCS for the rest of this year, still, the excitement is not gone. For many upcoming MetroPCS phones, there is no enough info, if any, to actually know what we are dealing with. So, it’s still going to be excited to see what this carrier will have to offer to its users. What’s clear is that many users are already overexcited about Samsung Galaxy S3 on MetroPCS if, of course, this is true and the phone’s specs doesn’t come altered.
