Selectel adds new Broadband $20 and $35 monthly plans
Selectel Wireless, MVNO that operates on Verizon network, has expanded recently its mobile broadband plan lineup. In addition to existing $50 plan that includes 5 GB of data, Selectel adds new Broadband monthly plans for $20 and $35 per month.
Selectel‘s broadband plan lineup now includes:
- $20/1 GB of mobile broadband data usage- new
- $35/3 GB of mobile broadband data usage -new
- $50/ 5 GB of mobile broadband data usage -existing
New broadband plans are not available through Selectel’s website yet but customers can call the carrier on 1 – 877 – 218 – 5744 in order to access them. Also, Selectel’s dealers like Bat Mobile Wireless and Genius Wireless are offering them with a free activation.
Selectel currently uses Verizon’s 3G network for phones as well as for mobile broadband. However, that should change soon since Verizon recently allowed its prepaid customers to access LTE and now it’s expected that its MVNO gain it too by the time this year ends.
Selectel Wireless is currently offering a Novatel MiFi 2200 hotspot for free for new activations with the purchase of a $50/5GB plan. The MiFi 2200 mobile hotspot supports connecting up to 5 users.
Selectel also recently brought positive changes to its phone plans. Besides notifying its dealers about getting access to LTE, they’ve increased amount of data on the $30 monthly plan, offering now 500MB of data instead of 300MB and a number of texts in the $75 plan from 1500 texts to 2000.
