Verizon MVNO Selectel Wireless has announced new promotion during this weekend and a new plan changes that, according to carrier’s Twitter account, are coming soon. Selectel offers free iPhone 4 with free activation this weekend. Selectel has been offering iPhone 4 for free for a while now but with free activation that usually costs $25, customers can additionally save. The regular cost of Apple’s iPhone 4 8GB model is $99.99.
In order to get a free iPhone 4 with free activation, customers must activate it on a new line of service with a purchase of a $55 monthly plan or higher priced plan. The $55 plan includes unlimited talk, text and 3GB data of data while $70 plan has 5GB of data but that might be for just a short time as Selectel Wireless also announces upcoming plan changes.
The carrier has posted on their Twitter account the following tweet: “Exciting Plan Changes coming soon…..stay tuned!” Also, some of Selectel customers report on Howard Forums that they have received an e-mail from dealers about upcoming Selectel plan changes. For now, no one knows what the changes might be but hopefully, they will be positive.
Now that activation of free Apple’s iPhone 4 is also free, customers can get a brand new phone for just $55. This is not a bad price for this phone given that it’s a Verizon compatible and that can be activated with other Verizon MVNOs in case customers decide to switch. But who knows, maybe after these new plan changes that Selectel is about to announce, they would be more than happy to stay.
