Simple Mobile LTE now officially supported
T-Mobile MVNO Simple Mobile, owned by TracFone, has officially added LTE support. The change is finally reflected on the carrier’s website. Customers who want fast data can go for Simple Mobile LTE plans for $50 or $60 per month.
The $50 plan includes unlimited talk, unlimited domestic and international texting and unlimited data with first 3 GB of high-speed data. The $60 plan comes with 5GB of high-speed data. Data are throttled to 256 Kbps after high-speed data allotment is reached in a month.
First reports of LTE icon showing up on the customers’ LTE-enabled handsets were at November last year but those in January were the first serious ones, when flyer that’s promoting Simple Mobile’s new $25 talk and text plan leaked.
Simple Mobile is BYOD operator that’s using T-Mobile network to provide service so users with hottest handsets as the unlocked Nexus 5, Motorola Moto X or latest Apple iPhones are welcome to sign up to one of the Simple Mobile’s two LTE plans. They can also bring any T-Mobile LTE-enabled handset and access fast LTE data.
Another T-Mobile MVNO to provide access to LTE is the 35orLess, relatively new prepaid provider.
