Sprint MVNOs adding support for the iPhone 4, 4S and 5
It seems that Sprint has allowed its MVNOs to activate the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 now. It’s started with RingPlus adding support for the iPhone 4 and 4S on its BYOSD (Bring Your Own Sprint Device) program few days ago and now other Sprint MVNOs are announcing and confirming the same plus adding iPhone 5 to the list.
RingPlus will start activating iPhone 4 and 4S before the new free BYOD plan becomes available on March 28. Sprint MVNOs Expo Mobile, ChitChat Mobile and EcoMobile have also added support for activating the iPhone 4, 4S and 5. Kajeet will be doing it within the next couple of weeks while Red Pocket Mobile will start activating them starting April 1.
Even though Sprint has started allowing activation of iPhone 4, 4S and 5 on its MVNOs only now, Ting’s been activating iPhone 4 and 4S since October last year and iPhone 5 since March 11, 2014. They also expect to start activating the latest iPhones, 5S and 5C, in September 2014, which will be a year since their launch on Sprint.
