Straight Talk adds Samsung Galaxy S II to is lineup
Samsung Galaxy S II has found its way to TracFone’s subsidiaries NET10 and Straight Talk. While NET10’s version is still in upcoming state at this point, Straight Talk adds Samsung Galaxy S II to its official website. It is available for $399.99 and is compatible with AT&T HSPA+ network, same as NET10’s.
Samsung Galaxy S II is the highest-end and most appealing Android smartphone for Straight Talk currently with its 0.35-inch super slim design, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, a speedy 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for up to 32GB of storage. It also comes with a main 8-megapixel camera and 2-megapixel front-facing one as well as with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity.
Unfortunately, Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S II features Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform same as NET10 and Ting’s version instead of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as Boost Mobile’s version.
Samsung Galaxy S II works with Straight Talk’s $45 unlimited plan with unlimited talk, text and data or $60 unlimited international plan where unlimited international calling to number of foreign destinations is added.
