Straight Talk includes International Texting on its $45 Unlimited plan at no extra charge, Android phones only
Straight Talk’s $45 Unlimited plan is one of the most affordable ones ever since it’s originally released, almost two years ago. But recently, new alteration has been made to it that will boost this plan even further. Straight Talk includes International Texting on its $45 plan at no extra charge.
The Straight Talk’s new international messaging feature works only with Sprint-powered Android phones. For now, those are the latest one LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus Q and first Android handset released for this carrier, Samsung Galaxy Precedent. Other prepaid carriers offer this feature as well but at extra cost.
Also, few days ago, Straight Talk made available a $60 Unlimited international calling plan for dialing landline and mobile numbers to the Mexico, Canada, India and other selected destinations. This plan has all the features that Straight Talk’s $45 Unlimited plan offers plus unlimited calling outside the county for additional $15.
Straight Talk users were reporting that they were able to send international massages for a while now. However, only now that there is at least some confirmation from Straight Talk (since now it’s listed on its website as a feature available with currently available Android phones), we can for sure state that International Texting on Straight Talk’s $45 Unlimited plan is available. The fact that it’s been available at no additional cost sounds even better.
