Updated: Straight Talk takes $2.50 off of the $45 plan if customers enroll in Auto Pay before Nov. 26
Already competitive $45 unlimited plan can get even more appealing to customers since Straight Talk takes $2.50 off of the plan to those who enroll in Auto Pay. In order to be able to utilize this offer, $45 plan users need to enroll into Auto Pay before November 26, 2014, which doesn’t leave too much time to do it. This promotion has been available previously, but this time, it’s been on since September, 2014. Customers need to log in to ‘My Account’ and register with a debit or credit card.
Customers can cancel paying their monthly bills automatically at any time without being charged any penalties or fees. Each time monthly charge is made, customers are notified with a Courtesy Alert. Since this is not the first time that Straight Talk is offering $2.50 discount on the $45 unlimited plan, those who miss on the promotion this time might probably get another chance to enroll if Straight Talk brings it back.
Straight Talk’s $45 unlimited plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with first 3GB at high speeds. The carrier throttles data to 2G speeds (approximately 64Kbps) when 3GB of high speed data is used up in a month. Straight Talk operates on all four major U.S. carriers – Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. It offers LTE data on all four networks. Verizon’s been added last with the ZTE Rapido.
