Equally, Lever and G Vista are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The G Vista has 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory while Lever has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This is a big plus for the ZTE Lever in terms of phone performance. Lever supports microSD card memory expansion up to 32GB and LG G Vista up to 64GB.
Both phablets came initially with Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system. However, operating system is now updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop which gives even better performance and experience on large screens. Given that latest Android versions don’t allow moving or installing some apps on SD card, this puts ZTE Lever ahead with its 16GB of internal storage, comparing to 8GB ( 3.76 available to user) of the LG G Vista.
Straight Talk ZTE Lever features 8-megapixel main camera with auto-focus, 4x digital zoom and HD video capture. Maximum image size is 3264×2448 and HD video resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. - $60 Unlimited International Plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with first 5GB at high speeds plus unlimited mobile to mobile to Mexico, China, India and Canada, and unlimited calls to select international landline destinations.
As you can see, both Straight Talk and Verizon prepaid plans are almost identical price-wise and both are using 4G LTE Verizon network. However, Verizon limits LTE speeds of its MVNOs to 5 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload while its own prepaid brand offers full LTE speed. Even though it’s faster, data on Verizon prepaid plans is hard capped, meaning once your monthly data allocation is used up, you’ll be cut off from mobile data entirely unless you purchase additional data add-on. On Straight Talk plans, however, there is more 4G LTE data ( $45 plan Verizon Prepaid 1GB, Straight Talk plan 5GB or $60 Verizon prepaid plan 3GB, Straight Talk plan 5GB) and also, when high speed data is used up, users continue to have access to data, throttled to 2G, until the next monthly cycle. So, who wins depends on whether users prefer less but faster data or access to unlimited monthly data with more but slower LTE data speeds.
And for the conclusion in Straight Talk ZTE Lever vs Verizon Prepaid LG G Vista – phablet comparison, even though LG G Vista is a great phablet with better price, Straight Talk ZTE Lever is our choice, because of better specs and unlimited data with more high speed data (5GB) that Straight Talk prepaid monthly plans provide.
