Straight Talk has added yet another ZTE-made handset to its prepaid lineup, ZTE Unico LTE. Unlike recently released ZTE Illustra that a 3G only phone, the Unico is a 4G LTE-enabled and compatible with AT&T network. Straight Talk ZTE Unico LTE is available at the carrier’s website for $199.99.
Besides 4G LTE connectivity, the ZTE Unico LTE features a 4.5-inch (540 x 960) display, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It has 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory and microSDHC card slot for additional memory expansion up to 32 GB. The Unico includes 5-megapixel camera with LED Fflash and 720p HD video capture and 1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting. For connectivity, it uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS while Li-Ion 2070 mAh battery powers the phone and provides up to 5 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby time.
ZTE Unico LTE works with Straight Talk’s $45 unlimited plan and $60 unlimited international plan. The $45 unlimited plan comes with unlimited talk, text, international texting that’s available on Android phones only and data with first 2.5 GB at high speeds. The $60 international plan includes all that $45 plan offers plus 400 minutes of calling mobile numbers in Mexico; unlimited calls to 15 unique international landline numbers per month in 37 countries and international calling to landline and mobile numbers in Canada, China and India.
