T-Mobile And MetroPCS Will Launch LG K7
T-Mobile and its prepaid brand MetroPCS will both launch the LG K7, one of the two smartphones that LG has announced earlier this week at CES 2016. The K7 and a better of the two K10 are part of the LG’s new K Series smartphones that offer some high-end features, which are usually included with LG’s premium models like advanced camera technology and UX features. T-Mobile has confirmed that it and MetroPCS will launch LG K7 but hasn’t disclosed when that might be or for how much they will sell it.
We are already familiar with the K7’s specs as LG has previously announced that Boost Mobile, Sprint’s prepaid brand, will offer it too. Boost Mobile will offer the K7 under a different branding, Tribute 5. T-Mobile hasn’t said if that would be the case with it or MetroPCS.
The K7 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480) display, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 2,125mAh battery while other specs depend on which model MetroPCS will offer: one is a LTE capable handset with 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing one, available in Titan color. The other model, which is available in white, black and gold, is a lower-end version: 3G connectivity, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The K7 also features LG’s new 2.5D Arc Glass that gives the phone more sophisticated look and feel than the phone really supports. Advanced camera features as Gesture Shot, Gesture Interval Shot, Tap and Shot and Flash for Selfie also make a difference for users that like taking selfies, which in this case is a younger population. LG has aimed the K7 and the K10 towards youngsters since they like fancy looking smartphones that can take various types of quality selfies at affordable price.
